How to run Lock My PC software
Commonly you don't need to run Lock My PC since it's starting automatically
at Windows startup.
However if you quit Lock My PC, you can start it again from the Windows Start
menu (Start/All Programs/Lock My PC 4/Lock My PC).
How to Lock Computer
There are 3 ways to lock your computer with Lock My PC:
- Mouse double-click on Lock My PC icon in the system tray.
- Open trayicon menu ( right mouse button click on Lock My PC icon in
the system tray) and choose Lock Computer item.
- Use Lock Computer hot key. See also How

How to assign a hot key in Lock My PC
You can assign hot key for computer locking with Lock My PC.
To assign a hot key:
- open Lock My PC Settings dialog (open Lock My PC trayicon menu and
select Settings item);
- select Hotkeys in the left area of the Settings dialog
- Select Lock Computer line.
- press your key combination and ensure that it appears in the line;
- press OK button to commit your changes.
Note. To unassign a hot key press Del button in the hot key line.
How to lock computer at Windows startup
To lock your computer at startup
- open Lock My PC Settings dialog (open Lock My PC trayicon menu and
select Settings item);
- select Advanced in the left area of the Settings dialog;
- Click on "Always Lock Computer at computer startup" option to
check it;
- press OK button to commit your changes.
